Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-09-14T03:32:34-04:00 · Entity: MathFig LLC ("MathFig," "we") · Contact: support@mathfig.com
1. Agreement
By using mathfig.com (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. The editor and account features are designed for adult teachers. The student resource described below may be used by students age 13 or older; the Service is not directed to children under 13. MathFig is operated from the United States.
2. The Service
MathFig is a browser tool for creating labeled geometry diagrams. You may edit and view the marked preview without an account. The /students page is a teacher-provided static answer-key resource for students age 13 or older; it requires a shared class access code but no MathFig account. The shared code is a convenience gate, not a promise that the resource is confidential. A free MathFig account is required to use the official Download and Copy actions. Free-account output carries a "made with mathfig.com" mark; MathFig Plus includes clean exports and receives convenient new features first as they become available.
3. Price, renewal, and cancellation
MathFig Plus costs $3.00 per month, tax included. Your plan renews automatically at $3.00 each month and your payment method is charged at each renewal until you cancel. You consent to these renewal terms at checkout. You can cancel at any time at link.com; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period.
MathFig may grant Plus access without charge. An owner-granted grant does not create a subscription or renewal charge.
MathFig Plus is sold through Link (a Stripe company), the merchant of record. Link charges your payment method, sends receipts, and handles transaction support and applicable indirect tax; your card statement shows LINK.COM* followed by the MathFig descriptor. MathFig LLC remains the seller and is responsible for the product. Payment, subscription, and refund questions go to Link support or support@mathfig.com; see Cancellation & refunds. MathFig does not receive or store your full card number.
4. Sign-in
Official Download and Copy actions, including marked free-account output, require a Clerk-managed MathFig account; viewing the /students resource does not. You may register with a verified email address and password or sign in with Google. Password registration is not complete until the address is verified; ordinary email sign-in uses your password rather than an emailed code or magic link. Clerk manages credentials, recovery, default authentication emails, and the visibly branded account screens. MathFig does not receive your plaintext password and keeps only keyed, non-reversible account and eligibility references for its access decisions. Clerk Hobby sets a fixed maximum session lifetime of seven days; after that, sign in again before downloading or copying. You are responsible for activity under your account.
5. Your content
Label text and figure settings you enter are yours and stay in your browser. MathFig claims no ownership of the figures you create and does not receive them.
6. License to exported images
(a) Free: you may use marked exports for personal and classroom purposes. The mark must remain intact; free exports are not licensed for use in materials you sell or distribute commercially.
(b) Plus: you may use images exported while your MathFig Plus access is active for any lawful purpose, including in materials you sell, with no attribution required. This license covers the images you export; it is not a license to the Service's software or to the MathFig name or logo.
(c) The license in (b) survives for those images after cancellation or refund.
7. Acceptable use
Do not abuse, disrupt, circumvent, resell, or use the Service unlawfully. Do not enter student personal information such as names, grades, IEP details, or disciplinary information. Review diagrams and labels before classroom use.
8. Availability; disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is," without warranties and without uptime guarantees. We may change or discontinue features, subject to applicable law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for MathFig Plus in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. MathFig does not provide self-service account deletion; email support@mathfig.com if you need help with your account. We may suspend access that violates these Terms. Cancellation and refund requests are governed by the Cancellation & refunds page and applicable law.
11. Changes
We post changes here with a new effective date. Changes take effect as stated, subject to applicable law.
12. Governing law; disputes
New Jersey law governs. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of New Jersey (small-claims court where eligible).
